Promising a fresh serving of the traditional Christmas fare, this version is directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, who has achieved popular success with his reinvention of classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Cinderella and The Car Man.   This performance was produced for television and features Scott Ambler & Emily Piercy.  Tchaikovsky’s much-loved score is performed by the Royal Philharmonic, conducted by Brett Morris.
