According to the Passenger lists leaving the UK 1890 to 1960 available on findmypast.co.uk he and his wife were travelling first class on board the Oronsay, bound for his home town of Adelaide. The passenger list gives a fantastic amount of detail, including his last address in the UK (Cumberland Hotel, London) his profession (Stockbrocker),  his age (45) and his country of intended future residence (Australia).
