On Wednesday July 7, another free screening will be held in Arts, as part of the regular
fortnightly Music and Dance on Film series. The classic opera, “La Boheme”, by Puccini will feature.
It stars the great Luciano Pavarotti, with Mirella Freni, and artists of the San Francisco Opera
Chorus and Orchestra. Conducted by Tiziano Severini.
La Boheme is an opera in four acts. It commences at 12.00 noon and runs for two hours.
It will be screened in the Listening Room – enter via the Audio-Visual Centre
and Arts Reading Room from Trescowthick Information Centre.
Recordings featured in the series are from the Library’s permanent collection.
