On Wednesday June 23rd one of our fortnightly screenings is scheduled in Arts.
A spectacular production of Puccini’s classic opera, Turandot, will be playing.
Recorded Live in an open-air performance at the Arena Di Verona, it features Ghena Dimitrova, Nicola Martinucci and the chorus and orchestra of the Arena Di Verona. Conducted by Maurizio Arena.

Turandot is an opera in three acts. The running time is approximately two hours.
The legend of Princess Turandot and Chinese background to the story form the
basis of Puccini’s last opera. Its wonderful chorus scenes are a highlight.
The screening commences @ 12.00 in the Listening Room – Enter via the Arts Reading
Room and Audio-Visual Centre (from Trescowthick Information Centre).
Admission is free and no bookings are required.
But come early as this will be popular.
