A selection of rare 17th-century English Civil War pamphlets have been acquired for the State Library’s Emmerson collection. The 33 pamphlets were purchased using funds bequeathed by John Emmerson to support ongoing additions to his exceptional collection of early printed English books.

Andy Griffiths awarded the 2015 Dromkeen Medal

State Library Victoria today awarded the 2015 Dromkeen Medal to Australia’s bestselling children’s author Andy Griffiths. The Library also presented this year’s Dromkeen Librarian’s Award to Rosario Martinez, the Children’s and Youth Services Librarian at the City of Darwin.
