The Library’s catalogue will be upgraded between 5.30pm on Friday 10 December and 10am Monday 13 December. During this time some services will be unavailable.
Fearless winners emerge in Australian Poetry Slam Victorian final

Nour Abouzeid and Tariro Movondo emerged as winner and runner-up in the Victorian final of the 2010 Australian Poetry Slam at the State Library of Victoria on Friday 19 November.
New bookstore opens today
A new, larger bookstore opens in Palmer Hall at the State Library today.
Remembering Ned Kelly, Armistice Day

Newspaper Reading Room works
The Library will be conducting maintenance work in the Newspaper Reading Room from Monday 8 – Friday 12 November. The room will remain open during this time.
