A program of opera favourites is the first in the Arts on Film series for 2013, to be screened this Wednesday April 3 in Arts.

With selected highlights from the world’s best-loved operas, More Favourites Volume 2, includes performances by Joan Sutherland, Luciano Pavarotti, David Hobson, Suzanne Johnson, Yvonne Kenny and artists of Opera Australia. Scenes from classic operas such as Carmen, The Tales of Hoffman, La Traviata, A Masked Ball, The Merry Widow, The Mikado and more also feature.

Opera Favourites commences at 12.00 noon and concludes at 1.15 pm (approx). It will be held in the Arts Listening-Viewing Room. Enter via the Arts Reading Room and Audio-visual Centre (from Trescowthick Information Centre). Admission is free. No bookings required, but come early as seating is limited. Enjoy!
