Wonderful Town is a musical comedy in two acts.  It features music by Leonard Bernstein, with The Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.  Also starring Kim Criswell, Audra McDonald, Thomas Hampson and European Voices.  It was recorded live on December 30-31, 2002, at Philharmonie, Berlin.

This concert version features excerpts from the original musical, first produced on Broadway in 1953.  It contains many great numbers including Ohio, It’s Love, Wrong Note Rag and the spectacular Conga!  The encore of Conga at the shows conclusion features a great conga line dance that begins with the cast on stage then gradually snakes its way around the entire auditorium involving the whole audience in one huge Conga!, and some New Years Eve festivity.
