A Symphonic Christmas is a collection of popular festive songs and carols, featuring the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and 100-voice choir.  Recorded live at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre, Melbourne, tunes range from Sleigh Ride, made famous by Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme in the 60s, to the rousing chorus in God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen. 

ABC Kids Christmas is Volume 4 in the best-selling series with The Wiggles, Bananas in Pyjamas and many more from the ABC Kids family performing a great mix of Christmas classics.

All of these CDs are currently available on the Listening Posts in Arts.  The online catalogue indicates which Listening Post the CD is available on.  There are eight jukebox listening posts in the Arts Reading Room, where you can listen to CDs from the audiovisual collection.

Friends for Christmas by John Farnham & Olivia Newton-John. (CD)

 

Friends for Christmas is the 2016 release by Australian popular music legends, Olivia Newton-John and John Farnham, performing favourite Christmas carols and songs including White Christmas made famous by Bing Crosby in the 40s, Let it Snow and Silent Night.  A deluxe version of the album with bonus tracks was released last month.
