On Wednesday July 21, the next screening in the fortnightly Music and Dance on Film series will be “Jerry Herman’s Broadway : at the Hollywood Bowl“.

Recorded in 1994, this is a gala star-studded musical tribute to the legendary award-winning composer/lyricist of  the Broadway hits – Hello Dolly, Mame, Mack & Mabel, Dear World & La Cage Aux Folles.  It features appearances by Bea Arthur, Carol Channing, Angela Lansbury, Paul & Linda McCartney, Liza Minnelli, Leslie Uggams, Rita Morena,
Michael Feinstein and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Conducted by Don Pippin.

The program commences at 12.00 noon and runs for two hours.
It will be screened in the Listening Room – enter via the Audio-Visual Centre
and Arts Reading Room from Trescowthick Information Centre.
