Summer holiday sounds with a 60s flavour currently feature on Listening Posts in Arts. They include new releases and old favourites in film sound tracks and popular music.
The online catalogue indicates which Listening Post the CD is available on. There are eight jukebox listening posts in the Arts Reading Room, where you can listen to CDs from the audiovisual collection.

Movie soundtracks include two popular classic Henry Mancini scores from The Pink Panther and Breakfast at Tiffany’s plus It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, composed and conducted by Ernest Gold. The Beatles : On Air, Live at the BBC, Volume 2, is a new release of original broadcasts with some great hit songs such as Twist and Shout, Roll Over Beethoven and She Loves You, performed live on air.
The Seekers complete is a spectacular five-disc set of hits, rare and live recordings from the local supergroup. Compilations of Australian rock/pop groups and artists include Down Under Nuggets, Bandstands singing sweethearts and Jukebox bop featuring many local bands and performers from Little Pattie and Lana Cantrell to The Easybeats and The Throb singing their hits.
