Melbourne Rare Book Week is upon us for another year, beginning on Thursday 16 July. This year it includes over 40 free events at libraries, literary and historical societies, and bookshops throughout Melbourne. Look forward to discussions, lectures, preservation workshops and the all-important Melbourne Rare Book Fair, held in Wilson Hall at University of Melbourne from 24 to 26 July.

The State Library is hosting several events, including The Foxcroft lecture, in which rare book librarian Donald Kerr will discuss three incredible book collections.

Melbourne Rare Book Week is a major attraction for book collectors, librarians and all who have a love of words, print on paper and literary heritage. It runs from 14 to 26 July and the full program can be found here.
