Screening the book blog

Screening the book is back for its second night of film goodness on Wednesday 29 April at 6pm.

This time around we will be screening the classic 84 Charing Cross Road (1987). It stars Anthony Hopkins and Anne Bancroft, and follows a 20-year transatlantic correspondence that blooms from a mutual love of books.

Keen for more? Come again for our May film screening. To celebrate the love of literature we will be screening the biographical film about children’s author and illustrator Beatrix Potter, Miss Potter (2006), on Wednesday 27 May.

Don’t forgot to book your spot in advance so you don’t miss out and these two wonderful films.
